I graduated from Northview in 2010 and went on to get my Bachelor's degree in Biology at Indiana State.  I originally pursued a career in the medical field, which gave me many opportunities to deepen my biological knoweldge, learn some new skills, and gain real-world experiernce.  Realizing that medicine wasn't my calling, I instead chose to take courses to earn my teaching license and later completed a Master's degree in Biology. I started teaching at Northview during the 2017-2018 school year and have enjoyed growing in my profession and helping my students learn to love science and explore the natural world around us.
