The Clay Community Schools Transportation has a fleet of 70 corporation owned and operated buses that are annually inspected by the Indiana State Police.  The fleet consists of 57 yellow buses (46 are 78-passenger and 11 are 66-passenger), 8 Special Needs Buses, and 5 special purpose white buses.  Currently, about half of the full-size route buses and all of the special-needs route buses are air-conditioned.  These buses cover 47 routes each day, both AM and PM, which consists of approximately 3300 miles.
