  • Dear Parents and All –

Greetings from Clay City Jr./Sr. High School! We have had a great start to the 2021-2022 school year and are confident it will be another great one! Our students will continue to attain and enjoy success in the classroom and in a vast array of extracurricular activities. Our Students, Faculty, Staff, and Community have done a GREAT job at handling all of the obstacles that the past 18 months have provided! Clay City Jr./Sr. High School has earned an “A” Letter Grade from the Indiana Department of Education in past years, and we are extremely proud of our graduation rate of 98%! Our curriculum represents a vast array of educational opportunities for our students, including both A.P. and Dual Credit Courses. Our “APEX Program” helped students earn 193 credits last year, and our students earned 489 Dual (College) Credits! These numbers continue to grow each year! “Respectful – Responsible – Honest – Successful.” We are very proud of our students’ achievements in the classroom, testing, and in their preparation to become successful in their chosen fields beyond high school. They will “Keep The Train Rollin’!” Several students and organizations have earned distinction as part extracurricular activities at our school. Our J.E.T.S./T.E.A.M.S. students have earned State and National honors, S.T.E.M./Robotics students have won the Ivy Tech “COB/COG Competition” the past two years of competition and “Autonomous Vehicle Challenge” Competition at Rose Hulman (National honors), and students representing our F.C.C.L.A., B.P.A., and F.F.A. Chapters have earned State and National honors. Our Imperial Regiment is back, and our Pep Band is one of the best in the state. Clay City Jr./Sr. High School has earned the honor of being named a “School of Character” by the I.H.S.A.A. for seven consecutive years, leading the State of Indiana!
