Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Seniors, The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the most important document for getting money to help you pay for college. To enroll in college in the fall of 2024, you will file the 2024-2025 FAFSA. The FAFSA opens in December 2023 and must be filed by April 15, 2024. Please see the attached document “How to file the FAFSA”. See guidance with any questions.

University of Chicago
The University of Chicago has sent information regarding their college: - The application for UChicago is free for any student applying for need-based financial aid - Students from households earning less than $60,000 per year attend UChicago for free, including housing and food - Students from households earning less than $125,000 per year receive free tuition - Loan-free financial aid is awarded as scholarships and grants – which do NOT need to be repaid

University of Southern Indiana will be holding Open Houses
The University of Southern Indiana will be holding Open Houses on October 14th and another on November 11th. Students can attend faculty-led academic sessions, tour campus and housing, and talk with current students. On October 28th, USI will be hosting Health Professions Day. Students can explore careers within healthcare and participate in hands-on activities in classrooms and labs. On November 3rd, USI will be hosting High School Business Day. Students can network with business professionals, learn about internship opportunities with the Romain College of Business.

Registration Is Now Open for the Fall SAT
You took the SAT as a junior for graduation requirements through the Indiana Department of Education. If you would like to take the SAT again, you will need to sign up through the College Board, choose a location, and pay the fee to take the exam
