Dr. Forrest R. & Madge (Hyatt) Buell Memorial Scholarship
The Dr. Forrest and Madge Buell Scholarship is one-time, non-renewable scholarship for a Clay City High School senior. The recipient should emulate a strong work ethic, community involvement, financial need, & show positive leadership ability. Plans to attend college is not a determining factor. Applications due May 2, 2025

2024 Brazil Rotary Scholarship
Each year the Brazil Rotary Club is proud to award academic scholarships to graduating high school seniors from Clay Community Schools. Applications are due by midnight April 14, 2025. Successful candidates will be awarded the scholarship during the school awards program. If you have questions regarding the application or the application process, you may call Maryann Reed at 812-249-3126.

Gary Smith Scholarship
The Gary W. Smith Memorial Scholarship is a one-time, nonrenewable scholarship of $1000 awarded to a graduating senior of Clay City High School. The scholarship will honor both athletic and scholastic achievements. plan to attend a four-year institution have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA have lettered in at least two sports. All applications should be submitted to the Clay City High School office no later than Monday, April 21, 2025.

Wabash Valley Officials Association Scholarship
The attachment contains information about the WVOA Scholarship. This is a one-time $500 scholarship. QUALIFICATIONS 1. Must be a graduating student who has participated as an athlete or team manager for a period of two (2) years while attending school. 2. Must have a grade point average of 2.75 or above. 3. Must plan to further your education in the upcoming fall. 4. Must exhibit good school & community citizenship. Applications due by March 1, 2025

Noah Colburn Scholarship
Seniors, The Noah Colburn Memorial Scholarship is a one-time $3000 award given to three seniors from the graduating class of CCHS. Students must submit a well-written, thought out essay and have a GPA of 2.0. Application is attached. Applications due in the guidance office by April 25th.

Don and Marilyn Putoff Scholarship
The Don and Marilyn Putoff Scholarship is an annual scholarship focusing on rewarding ambitious, hard-working individuals who are not planning on attending college but need financial support to obtain present and future goals. Application is attached. Due by April 25th in the guidance office.

Sherree Fell Scholarship
The Sherree Fell Memorial Scholarship is a one-time award of $5000 given to one student in the senior class. Students must plan on attending a 2 or 4 year college, trade, or vocational school and have a passion for English/Language Arts. Applications are attached. Due by April 25th in the guidance office.

Pat Wiram Scholarship
Please find attached the application for the Wiram Family Scholarship. Applicants should meet the following criteria: ● Senior at Clay City High School ● 2.5 or higher cumulative GPA ● Intend to pursue a degree in science or a science-intensive field (Examples of appropriate majors include, but are not limited to the following: Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, Geology, Geography, Nursing and related Health Careers, Pre-Med, Pre-Vet, Pre-Pharmacy, and Pre-Physical Therapy) Deadline of April 15th to the guidance office.
