• Greetings from Clay City Jr./Sr. High School! We are looking forward to the 2018-2019 school year and are confident it will be another great one! Our students are attaining and enjoying success in the classroom and in a vast array of extracurricular activities.

Clay City Jr./Sr. High School has earned an “A” Letter Grade from the Indiana Department of Education in past years, and we are extremely proud of our graduation rate of nearly 95% for the past several years! Our curriculum represents a vast array of educational opportunities for our students, including both A.P. and Dual Credit Courses. Our “APEX Program” helped students earn over 200 credits last year, and our students earned well over 200 Dual (College) Credits. Our “E.E.L. Corps” (Educational Excellence in Learning) is an Academic Booster Club that has provided additional ways for parents, community members, and stakeholders to assist in the educational opportunities for ALL students. We are very proud of our students’ achievements in the classroom, testing, and in their preparation to become successful in their chosen fields beyond high school.

Several students and organizations have earned distinction as part extracurricular activities at our school. Our J.E.T.S./T.E.A.M.S. have advanced to Nationals, S.T.E.M. students has won the Ivy Tech “Spartan Match” and “Autonomous Vehicle Challenge” Competition at Rose Hulman, and students representing our F.C.C.L.A., B.P.A., and F.F.A.
