Hello, my name is Desiree Cochran. My career started as a business teacher in 2009 at Woodrow Wilson Middle School. I taught there for seven years before teaching in a high school setting. Prior to that I was a full-time mortgage loan processor at First Farmers Bank and Trust for two years while attending college full-time online for a Business Administration degree. My favorite part about my job was educating adults on how to better their credit report so they would be able to obtain a mortgage loan. That is when I realized I wanted to go back and get my Business Education degree. I taught at Northview for one year and have been at Clay City ever since! I teach Digital Applications and Responsibilities, Advanced Digital Applications and Responsibilities, Personal Finance, Marketing, and coordinate the I.C.E. and Internship Programs at Clay City High School. I look forward to teaching at Clay City for many more years! Outside of school, my husband and I live in Cory along with our three children Blake, Allie and Noah. When time allows, I enjoy photography, scrapbooking, and crafting.
