BigFuture

Students, BigFuture (powered by College Board) is a free online planning guide that helps ALL students take the right first step after high school. BigFuture is beneficial to explore careers, plan for college, and pay for college. Please see the attachment for more details regarding all the benefits this program has to offer. For example: Beginning in the 10th grade, students who join will automatically be entered into monthly scholarship drawings; hundreds of $500 and two $40,000 scholarships each month. WorkOne, the Clay County YMCA, and the Clay County Chamber of Commerce will together be hosting a job fair on OCTOBER 24th, from 1 – 5 pm at the Clay County YMCA.

All sophomores will be taking the PSAT/NMSQT on OCTOBER 26th.

Sophomores, All sophomores will be taking the PSAT/NMSQT on OCTOBER 26th. The PSAT/NMSQT is good practice for the SAT (which is required Junior year) and is structured similarly: the same sections and timing, and measures the Reading/Writing and Math skills needed to succeed in college and career. The PSAT/NMSQT is now digital to make the test easier to take, shorter, more time per question, and comes with a built-in calculator. Please see the attached Student Guide for more information.
