  • My name is Bob Osborn. My degrees include a baccalaureate in Industrial Technology from Indiana State University and a Master in Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. I started my career in teaching in 1987 at Eminence Jr. / High School. After teaching 5 years at Eminence, I then moved to Linton High School. In 1996, I took a teaching job at Northview High School and then later moving to the North Clay Middle School. I have enjoyed my experiences at all of these schools.

I enjoy teaching in the area technology. My favorite class in high school was drafting. Technology is allows is changing and new things are coming out. This makes my teaching area interesting, challenging and fresh every day. Students are generally interested and excited about working on all of the projects we have for them. It is a great area to teach.

On a personal note. I graduated from Van Buren High School in 1979. After waiting one after graduation, I decided to attend Indiana State University to get a degree in Industrial Technology Education. After getting my teaching degree, I stared my teaching career at Eminence High School. I married Jane (Pell)-(recently retired from 30 plus years teaching Pre-School) in 1984, and we have been blessed with two children – boy and girl. Nikki LeMay, my daughter –married to Matt, is also a teacher and teaches at Northview HS. She has two boys (my grandsons) Lukas and Nolan. My son William Osborn, is employed by State Farm Insurance and married to Collen (a Teacher). Will and Collen have one girl, Haddie, and one that is due in December –my two granddaughters.
