    WTHI TV IS TAKING NOMINATIONS FOR THE GOLDEN APPLE AWARDS. STUDENTS IF YOU’RE INTERESTED IN NOMINATING ONE OF YOUR TEACHERS, PLEASE STOP BY THE OFFICE FOR INFORMATION ABOUT THE NOMINATIONS.

     

    Seventh graders interested in foreign language classes for next year need to make sure they have an enrollment form completed and turned into the guidance office by January 31. The forms may be picked up in the guidance office from Mrs. Boots. You have a choice of Spanish or German and this is for high school credit..

     

    Any girls interested in playing Soccer for Northview or Learning more are encouraged to attend Tuesday and Thursday 5:15-6;30 @ NHS

     

    student council members will be coming around at lunch again today to collect money that you’d like to donate for Special Olympics. The winning grade will get to have electronics at lunch during the last week of January. All of our donations will be given to the Special Olympics during the Unified game at NHS on February 14. DON’T FORGET THAT CHANGE!

     

    Don’t forget to turn in your robotics club application to the front office if you’re interested in joining.

     

    STUDENTS--IT’S TIME TO CREATE OUR YEARBOOK COVER. If you’re interested in designing a cover for the NCMS Knights Yearbook, please submit a colored pencil drawing on a white 8 ½ x 11 sheet of paper.

     

    Congrats to the 6th grade girls basketball team.

    Defeating St Pats in last nights game 25 to 1. Improving their record to 2-0.

    Scoring for the knights were

    The 7th grade lady knights lost a tough battle with Clay City last night. The final score was 18-1. Abi Shearer led all scorers with 9, followed by Brynlee Clarke with 4 and lauren Tilley added 2. The next game is on the road tonight at North East Middle School.

     

    The 8th grade girls basketball team lost last night to a tough Clay City team. Piper Brinkman had 2 points and Kalyn Rhea added 2 points. The Lady Knights play tonight at North Eastern.
