College Day Criteria

• YOU MUST SCHEDULE YOUR OWN COLLEGE VISIT. You can go online to most college websites and find an online form to register or find a number to call to make a scheduled visit.
• You can have two college days during your junior and senior year. (Unless you have used these two days as job shadow days)

-Must print out college day form and return (top portion) to your guidance

counselor at least one day prior to going on the visit.

-Must be passing all of your classes at the time of visit.

-Cannot be on attendance probation (missed more than 5 days of school).

-Cannot take college days in December or May.

-Must get a signature and phone number from someone at the college

verifying that you visited the college. (bottom portion of the college day

form)

-The (bottom portion of the college day form) must be returned to the

attendance office the following day after the visit.
- Must have passed both portions of the ISTEP

*This will not be considered an absence from school*

Job Shadow Day Criteria

• YOU MUST SCHEDULE YOUR OWN JOB SHADOW DAY. You can job shadow someone you know or find someone in the career you are interested in. Call them and see if you are able to shadow them for a day or half day. Verify date and time.
• You can have two job shadow days during your junior and senior year. (Unless you have used those two days for college visits)

-Must print out job shadow form and return (top portion) to your guidance

counselor at least one day prior to going on the visit.

-Must be passing all of your classes at the time of visit.
