• Message From the Principal


    Hello! The students, staff and myself welcome you to our school, Van Buren Elementary. We are very fortunate to be located in the eastern part of Clay County , with farmland and woods all around us.

    Our school motto is " Reaching To Inspire". Collaboration and team planning has become an important part in the growth of our school. Staff members strive to provide the best educational experiences to our students through the high standards they have set for themselves.

    We have implemented the Positive Behavior Instructional Support program (PBIS) and encourage all students to always be TRUE BLUE. 

    Students are asked to Be responsible, Loyal citizens who Use manners and Excel everywhere and in everything they do.

    Van Buren Elementary has a very supportive PTO. Family members are encouraged to be involved in their student's education and school activities. The PTO recognizes the students' many accomplishments, supports many fun nights for family activities and are always there when needed. Thank you not only to our parents, but also to the community as a whole. Your involvement has a great impact on the lives of us all.
