MiniMoves Program

Last week the students started the new MiniMoves program sponsored by the 500 Festival and INSHAPE(State PE/Health professional organization).  The program helps to promote overall health and wellness in schools using the four "pillars" of Physical, Social, Mental/Emotional, and Maintenance as its base.

This week the students are focusing on the Maintenance.  Everything that has to do with maintaining  a healthy body.  Eating a "colorful" diet filled with many Vegetables/Fruits, drinking water instead of sugary drinks, bathing/brushing teeth, and sleeping at least 9-11 hours depending on the age.
