Mission Statement

The administration, faculty, staff, parents and community of Clay City Elementary provide a caring, ethical environment for students with the best possible educational opportunities available, enabling our students to function as responsible, well-rounded contributors to our society. We integrate communication, critical thinking, problem solving, study skills, and interpersonal skills into the teaching and learning process. Individual learning styles are incorporated into a well-balanced curriculum in which the students take ownership of what they are taught. Through positive reinforcement of the educational efforts of each student, the students will develop an enthusiastic desire to learn that will continue throughout their lives.
