  • I am new to the teaching profession, but have long been a fan. When I was in grade school and asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer was not a police officer or a fire fighter, but a teacher. After graduating high school my focus became more on business and so I switched lanes into the business world. I have a dual concentrated bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Human Resource Management from Kaplan University. My master's degree is in Management from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. For 25 years I worked in restaurant management, retail management, and office management. After an exhaustive career I decided to pursue my childhood dream and become a teacher. I am in my 3rd year of teaching and I am loving it. I previously taught at North Vigo High School and this is my second year at Northview High School and I hope to have many more years here. I am currently teaching the folllowing courses and hope to be able to offer more dual credit courses in the future through our amazing business department.
    • Personal Financial Responsibility
    • Introduction to Business
    • Introduction to Accounting
    • Advanced DAR
    • Principles of Business Management (DC)
    • Preparing for Colleges & Careers
I am originally from Minnesota and moved to Indiana in 2017. I live here in Brazil with my dog Bart. I am happy to be here and to be part of such an amazing family and community. If you are a fan of pro football or college sports stop by room G118 and check out my decore. I am co-advisor for DECA and the sponsor for D & D Club, but I do plan on participating in and coordinating as many different activities as I can. My door is always open, so stop by if you have a question or if you just want to say hello. Go Knights!
