Mr. Scott Bohonek

I am new to the teaching profession, but have long been a fan. When I was in grade school and asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer was not a police officer or a fire fighter, but a teacher. As graduated high school my focus became more on business and so I switched lanes into the business world. I have a dual concentrated bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Human Resource Management from Kaplan University. My master's degree is in Management from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. For 25 years I worked in restaurant management, retail management, and office management. After an exhaustive career I decided to pursue my childhood dream and become a teacher. I am in my 2nd year of the Transition to Teaching program and I am loving it. Last year I taught at North Vigo High School and this is my first year at Northview High School and I hope to have many more years here. I am currently teaching the folllowing courses and next year I hope to be able to offer some dual credit courses through our amazing business department.
I am originally from Minnesota and moved here to Indiana 2 years ago. I live here in Brazil with my 4 year old Chihuahua named Bart. I am happy to be here and to be part of such an amazing family. If you are a fan of pro football or college sports stop by room G118 and check out my decore. As of right now, I am helping Mr. Reed as a co-advisor for DECCA, but I do plan on participating in and coordinating as many different activities as I can. My door is always open, so stop by if you have a question or if you just want to say hello.
