Greetings! If you are new to East Side Elementary, please allow me to introduce myself. I began my journey in education in 1987 and have served as a 2nd, 3rd, and 6th grade teacher in Kentucky, Florida, and Indiana. I spent 3 years as an independent curriculum, instructional, and technology consultant for multiple school systems. My educational background began at the University of Kentucky where I completed my Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education. Later, I earned a Master of Education in Reading from the University of Southern Indiana and a Master of Education in Administration from Indiana State University. I am married to Dr. Fred Froderman, a veterinarian, and we have six children and seven grandchildren. It is my honor and privilege to serve in the capacity of principal at East Side. I realize the tremendous staff of teachers, instructional assistants, and support staff assembled in our building. We take the job of educating children seriously and have lots of life expereinces and fun along the way. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about our school. Please call our school office if we can be of assistance.
