The National Honor Society (NHS) recognizes outstanding high school students. Members must be academically exceptional, and demonstrate excellance in areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. members participate in a number of group service projects and are responsible for attaining 10 hours of service work individually. Juniors and Seniors who have a 3.5 GPA or higher are invited to apply for membership at the beginning of second semester. members are also recognized at graduation by wearing the NHS Stole with their caps and gowns.
