Hello!

My name is Heather Palmer-Keyes and I am a Guidance Counselor/Facts of Life teacher here at North Clay Middle School.  I am a proud graduate of Northview High School, IUPUI, and Indiana State University.  While at ISU, I received my Master’s Degree in Education, School Counseling.  I truly believe that being a school counselor is the best job in the world.  I also believe that I am blessed to work with some of the best teachers and administrators in the state.  I am very proud of the work we do here at NCMS.  I, along with my colleagues, believe that every child has the ability to achieve- regardless of obstacles or barriers they may face inside or outside of school. 

In addition to counseling, I LOVE sports!  I coach volleyball at the middle school and tennis at the high school.  I am married and have two rescue pups named Max and Marley.  In my free time, I enjoy crocheting, taking dance fitness classes, listening to worship music, and spending time with my family and friends.  My favorite quote and counseling motto is: “You are enough.”
